ShowerShop brand walk-in bathtub shells do not include an integral tile flange. The reason for this omission is our focus on maximizing interior space by minimizing the deck width to the necessary minimum. As a result, finishing tiles or wall panels over the deck should also occupy minimal space to allow for cleaning gaps between the wall and fixtures. We strongly recommend purchasing and installing ShowerShop’s glue-up flexible tile flange for this purpose. This tile flange is constructed from a thin, waterproof fabric membrane and is perfectly suited for this application.
