The Function of Walk-In Tub Extension Panel
Moving on, access & extension panels help to hide all of the plumbing and mechanics inside the bathtub. For example, all of our Ella Acrylic tub come with one access panel for your corner installation bathtubs. Next, you have the option to get a second access panel and extension panels as an add-on. Panels can be added in a case where you might want a freestanding bathtub, or if you have a longer alcove and need the extension to fit the bathtub in nicely.
Finally, the panels can be easily removed during installation to allow for greater access to the mechanics and for an easier grip while moving. All one has to do is take out the screws and washers at the bottom(as shown in the diagram) and slide the panel off of the brackets. Once the installation is finished you can slide the panel back onto the brackets and screw them back into place. The screws even come with white caps so you have a nice smooth white finish with no eyesores. Access and Extension panels give you the option to put your bathtub anywhere without any extra hassle.

DURABASE WS – Corner Tape with Protection Wall Sealing Against Trowels
From $69.00DURABASE WS Corner Joint Tape (ETA Approved) is a professional waterproofing solution engineered to protect the most vulnerable transitions in wet areas. Corners and junctions are where moisture pressure and movement typically cause failures, which is why secure sealing at wall-to-floor and wall-to-wall connections is essential. This tape is designed to deliver dependable wall sealing behind tile in showers, wet rooms, bathrooms, and other moisture-exposed spaces, helping prevent leaks that can lead to mold, damaged substrates, and costly repairs.
A key advantage is its ETA approval, providing added confidence that the product is assessed for performance in demanding construction environments when installed as part of the recommended system. The tape also features a reinforced center strip that helps resist accidental damage during installation, such as trowel impacts or punctures that can compromise the waterproofing layer.
Ideal for new builds and renovations, DURABASE WS Corner Joint Tape supports a clean, system-based waterproofing method by reinforcing critical joints and maintaining continuity across transitions. The result is a more durable, watertight finish and long-term peace of mind, with premium protection exactly where wet-area assemblies need it most.
