This walk in tub is equipped with an oversized 2″ floor drain that includes a pull up emergency chain for a fast and reliable drainage and exit. The acrylic shell is backed by a solid rustproof stainless-steel frame with adjustable leveling legs, giving you a safe, sturdy, and long-lasting walk-in bathtub. Hydro Therapy Tub with Massage Standard Acrylic Walk-In 30″x 52”
Hydro Therapy Tub: A 2” drain with a pull up chain offers you a quicker drainage time compared to the standard 1.5” drain that most of our competitors use. Typical drainage time is approximately +/-80 seconds at ideal in-home plumbing conditions. If possible, it is recommended to connect into 2” or 3” house drain for a faster drainage time. This gravity driven drain offers fast and reliable because it does not require an electric pump. Whereas electrical driven drains may fail due to electrical shorts or power outages.
Also included is a 5-piece fast fill faucet set which uses ¾’ supply lines as opposed to ½” supply lines. This provides you with a quicker fill time than most other tubs. Keep in mind that fill time will vary based on in-home plumbing conditions.
The ShowerShop Standard walk-in tub has eighteen (18) strategically placed hydro jets in order to deliver optimal therapeutic relief. Ten (12) upper fixed jets work to provide relief for your back, hips and thighs, while six (6) lower adjustable jets massage your feet and calves.
The Hydro Massage System features a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, an intensity control dial, and strategically positioned hydro jets for targeted massage. The in-line water heater maintains a constant water temperature for maximum comfort while bathing. Lastly, the hydro massage intensity control dial allows you to adjust the strength of the water stream by adding more or less air into the hydro system.
The ShowerShop Standard also includes one (1) reversible end panel for left or right corner installation option and one (1) extension panel kit for a 60” alcove installation. These panels cover the end of the tub to give your bathtub a completed look. You can order additional panels if you install your tub as a free-standing unit against the wall.
We offer a limited lifetime warranty with free replacement parts for the original customer at the installation address. This warranty is non-transferable to other customers or locations. Replacement labor and shipping costs are not provided.
