- Chemically clean mounting surface with clean rag and denatured rubbing alcohol. This is paramount to insuring proper adhesion.
- Peel back orange tape approximately 24 inches.
- Starting approximately ½ inch from square corner, press on and adhere first 4 inches of strip.
- Stretch align and pull toward center of shower, press firmly to shower surface.
- Pull and stretch to wall and align before removing remainder of orange peel-off strip.
- Peel back remaining length, repeat stretch align and pull to opposite corner.
- Measure and cut excess dam with razor blade approximately ½ inch from wall.
- Dry fit square caps to insure proper fit (trim if required).
- Remove caps and apply clear silicone adhesive caulk to male end of cap and re-insert male end into collapsible dam.
- Flex cap away from the wall to apply silicone caulk to wall side of cap.
- Release and wipe away excess caulking using clean alcohol-soaked rag.
- Apply masking tape to hold cap in position if needed until adhesive is cured.

No special tools are required for installation, thanks to the strong, water-resistant, self-adhesive tape that ensures a mess-free application. INCLUDED FEATURES FOR The grout line beneath the retainer must be caulked to prevent water travel beneath the dam. Wipe off excess caulk and let cure (according to caulk specifications) prior to use.

Furthermore, it is especially useful for bathtubs in corner or freestanding installations because it allows for a nice white finish all around.
Also, access panels can be easily taken off or put back on to allow for easier access to the plumbing and mechanics as well as to make it easier to move the bathtub during installation. Lastly, the extension panels are an optional feature that fit at the ends of bathtubs so that they can fit into longer alcoves. As a result, finishing tiles or wall panels over the deck should also occupy minimal space to allow for cleaning gaps between the wall and fixtures. We strongly recommend purchasing and installing Ella’s glue-up flexible tile flange for this purpose. Reversible Access End Panel
$250.00Each Ella walk-in tub comes with a reversible end panel that can be installed on either side of the tub, whether it’s the left or the right. If you need to cover the other end of the walk-in tub, you can purchase an additional end panel separately.
The Front Entry walk-in tub, on the other hand, doesn’t have a reversible end panel. Instead, it has two side panels that cover the sides of the tub since the molded seat is positioned facing the door, and the tub is narrow.
